Mote Camps combine our groundbreaking research with fun, hands-on, and age-appropriate activities. We offer STEM adventures year-round when school is out with our Summer and Day Camps here at Mote Aquarium. Our goal is to offer campers the opportunity to go beyond the textbook and into the field. Campers can discover the wonders of marine animals and environments studied by Mote scientists - a great way to gain steam in STEM education (science, technology, engineering and math) even when school is out.

Meet the Camp Staff

Trusting your child with us is something we take great pride in! Our camp staff, interns, and volunteers create a comfortable and fun environment in which campers can learn about the ocean, make new friends, and visit marine animals they wouldn’t get to see normally. Each camp is led by a Mote Camp Instructor with assistance from our dedicated college interns, high school interns, and Mote volunteers. All of our staff and college interns are First-Aid/CPR/AED and Lifeguard certified through the Red Cross. Our staff, interns, and volunteers are all fingerprinted and background-checked.
