Mote Marine Laboratory’s Center for Fisheries Enhancement will be hosting the 10th Annual William R. Mote Memorial Invitational Snook Shindig, a scientific catch, sample and release tournament targeting tagged snook released by Mote’s Stock Enhancement Program.
The event will be at Mote Marine Laboratory on City Island. We are asking for your support and participation of this event, as proceeds will benefit the Center’s Stock Enhancement Program. This program, developed in partnership with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, is aimed at developing responsible and effective marine stock enhancement technologies to restore depleted marine fish populations.
As a participant in the William R. Mote Memorial Invitational research tournament you will help Mote Marine Lab continue its world-renowned research, education and conservation programs. Only effective research can provide the knowledge needed to properly support, protect, and replenish these fish stocks and the coastal ecosystems they depend on.
