27th Annual Run for the Turtles

Please join us for the 27th Annual Run for the Turtles!

Time has flown by and we're readying for our annual Run.  Our Run supports the conservation and research efforts for the Sea Turtle Program at Mote Marine Laboratory. The run is the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program's major fundraiser — and it's still helping us help sea turtles.

  • When: Saturday, April 6, 2013
  • Where: Siesta Key Public Beach, 948 Beach Road, Siesta Key
  • Register online now at  www.active.com through April 1, 2013.

  • Registration Fees: 
Adults: $25 through March 23, 2013; $30 from March 23, 2013 through race day
. Children 10 & younger: $15 through March 23, 2013; $20 from March 23, 2013 through race day
  • On Race Day: Registration begins 6:30 a.m. at the Siesta Key Gazebo, south of the pavilion. The 
1-Mile Fun Run or Walk begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 
5K Manasota Track Club-Sanctioned Run begins at 8 a.m.

A trophy is awarded to the team with the greatest number of participants.

Prizes to the overall male and female winners • No age categories • Ribbons to all finishing participants
5K Run

Prizes to overall male and female winners • Medals to 1st through 3rd place winners in all age divisions • Ribbons to 4th through 6th place finishers • Prizes to Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters and Veterans in male and female categories.
