SeaSnooze Overnights

Sleep with the fishes!

Explore the Aquarium at night, learn about our resident animals through hands-on and interactive activities, and snooze peacefully in the indoor galleries.

SeaSnooze Overnights are open to schools, youth and community groups, and large families. Please book at least one month in advance.

Preschool

Grades K - 2

Grades 3 - 5

Grades 6 - 8

Grades 9 - 12

 

Dates: Friday and Saturday evenings year-round

Times: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. (14 hours total)

Group Size: 15 minimum/ 50 maximum

Cost: For groups of 15-35, the fee per participant is $35.

For groups of 36-50, the fee per participant is $30.

Meals: Mote provides a pizza dinner and a continental breakfast.

Program Descriptions

Grades 1-5: Wonderful World of Marine Creatures

What is an adaptation and how does it help marine animals to survive in their ocean environment? Discover the unique adaptations of marine animals through interactive games and hands-on activities. Bring a white t-shirt or pillowcase along to paint an ocean scene on!

Grades 6-8: Close-Up on Mote Research

What techniques do Mote scientists use to study marine animals? Through simulations and role plays, learn how Mote scientists unlock the mysteries of the ocean. Bring a white t-shirt or pillowcase along to paint an ocean scene on!
