Program Descriptions

Classroom Program: Our Dolphin Neighbors

Learn about the dolphins that live in Sarasota Bay through stories and role play based on Mote's longest running research study of bottlenose dolphins.

50 minutes15-30 students/class1 chaperone free : 5 students ratio$12/student

Laboratory Program: Become a Scientist

Investigate the marine world with scientific tools including microscopes, scales, rulers, and more!

50 minutes15-30 students/class1 chaperone free : 5 students ratio •  $14/student

Field Program: Habitat Hoopla! Find out what to wear and bring

Wade into the coastal waters of Sarasota Bay with dip nets as we learn about the estuary habitat and introduce the scientific method. Come ready to get wet and catch some critters!

90 minutes15-30 students/class1 chaperone free : 5 students ratio$17/student

SeaSnooze Overnight Program: Wonderful World of Marine Creatures

Explore the Aquarium when the lights go out and discover the unique adaptations of marine animals through games, hands-on activities, and exhibit visits. 

Fridays or Saturdays, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. •  15-50 students1 chaperone free : 5 students ratio
