Exclusively available to visitors and members of Mote Aquarium, guests can enjoy dining al-fresco or inside the casual, retro ’50s-style diner, complete with an old-fashioned soda fountain. The lively interactive café offers a fun, affordable, family-style menu including selections such as Steamy Deep Sea Clam Chowder, Hammerhead Triple Stack Burger, Vegiwich, Chicken Fingers, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, Coral Reef Chili, Moonshine & Harley’s Mahi-Mahi Sandwich, Garden Fresh Salads, Hand-Dipped Ice Cream Cones, Shakes & Sundaes and much more! Planning a group visit?
Call ahead to reserve tables and place your food order at Mote's Deep Sea Diner. Indoor seating is available within the retro '50s-style diner for groups up to 12 people, and larger parties can be accommodated in the Aquarium courtyard while guests enjoy dining al-fresco. Please call 941-388-3415 to place your group's order at least 24 hours in advance.
Mote Marine Laboratory has been a leader in marine research since it was founded in 1955. Today, we incorporate public outreach as a key part of our mission. Mote is an independent nonprofit organization and has seven centers for marine research, the public Mote Aquarium and an Education Division specializing in public programs for all ages.
