Dolphin & Whale Hospital

Dolphin & Whale Hospital Volunteer Activities

Assist with water quality testing, data recording and entry, and care and handling of dolphins and whales in our animal hospital.

There is not always a dolphin or whale in the hospital, so this opportunity is only available to local residents who can be on-call as needed. There is a required $75 training course, held twice a year. After completing the course, applicants must then work five shifts in the dolphin and whale hospital before receiving Mote Volunteer status and benefits.
