Sharktoberfest Saturday Discounts for Kids in Costume
Kids who wear their Halloween costumes on Saturdays in October will receive free admission to The Aquarium at Mote Marine Laboratory (with purchase of an adult ticket). Mote mascot Gilly the Shark will make special appearances from noon to 2 p.m. on Oct. 5, 12 and 26. The Aquarium is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 365 days per year at 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway in Sarasota. Normal admission is $19 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $14 for youths ages 4-12. Kids 3 and younger and Mote Members always get in free.
