Sea Lions: On The Water's Edge

Email: info@mote.orgOn Dec. 1, 2012, Mote’s limited-time exhibit featuring sea lions will open to the public. Sea Lions: On The Water’s Edge is an exciting exhibit featuring California and Patagonian sea lions that will be open through spring 2013 in The Aquarium at Mote Marine Laboratory. The exhibit will allow visitors to get up close to Patagonian and California sea lions and learn about their astounding double lives on land and in the sea. The exhibit will start by featuring Patagonian sea lions Stella, Rose and Kitty, and over time it will feature other individual sea lions, each with unique personality that helps reveal how cool and complex these marine mammals can be.
Sea Lions: On The Water’s Edge will include special narrated demonstrations that highlight sea lions’ intelligence and natural abilities. These sessions will be held at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. Visiting the exhibit will be included with your regular Mote admission.
