Mote Marine Laboratory

Over the past decades, Mote research has helped to save species, protect habitats, solve problems and educate children, adults and policy makers about marine research and conservation.

But there are new challenges facing our oceans — some of them more dire than those in the past.

At Mote, we are committed to facing these challenges and are working to empower the next generation of scientists and educators who will lead the way in finding solutions to the oceans' most pressing problems.
