Kathy joined the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program as an Administrative Assistant in February 2011. Her primary area of study in college was Management Information Systems and Business Administration, but she later returned to college to get A.S. degrees in Biology and Marine Environmental Technology. She has worked as a Biological Technician for a fisheries consulting firm and as a Fisheries Technician for Pacific State Marine Fisheries Commission. Her most recent position was as the Animal Resources Center Manager at The Scripps Research Institute in Jupiter, Florida.
