Kathy spent 18 years working for NASA and government contractors in both mission operations and space policy. After moving to Florida, she began volunteering with the Dolphin and Whale Hospital in May 2004. Kathy  became a shift leader and logged more than 4,000 volunteer hours before she joined Mote as the Rehab Volunteer Coordinator for both hospitals in January 2009.
