Corporate Spotlight: SRQ Media
Mote is pleased to continue a valued partnership with SRQ Media Group in 2009. The partnership began in 2008.
SRQ magazine made many of its own headlines, taking home multiple awards in 2008 from the Florida Magazine Association. Most notably, SRQ: Sarasota's Premier Magazine was recognized as one of three top magazines in "Best Overall Magazine" with 50,000 and under circulation alongside Ocala and Boca Raton magazines, making SRQ the only publication on Florida's West Coast to take the honor. The magazine also won the top Charlie award in the state for "Best Overall Use of Photography." The SRQ Journal, which launched in 2007, won a bronze in the "Best New Magazine" category.
SRQ Media Group's support of Mote's programs has been invaluable and we are pleased to have SRQ as a proud sponsor of our newest event, Party on the Pass.

Mote Marine Laboratory has been a leader in marine research since it was founded in 1955. Today, we incorporate public outreach as a key part of our mission. Mote is an independent nonprofit organization and has seven centers for marine research, the public Mote Aquarium and an Education Division specializing in public programs for all ages.
