Turtle upon admission

3/26 The turtle stranded in Ormond Beach and was transported to Mote. The animal is lethargic and has karatin lifting off the shell. 3/28 Turtle was put in water today and offered food, which it ate.  3/30 Animal continues to eat well. 4/20 Turtle continues to do well, eating and gaining weight, and is resonding to medications. 5/11 Turtle has developed anemia and is being treated.  Gaining weight and remains active. 6/21 The turtle has been moved to a larger tank in preparation for release. The larger tank will help build muscle strength and give the turtle more room to dive. 7/5 Turtle is eating well and gaining weight and expected to be released by the end of the summer. 7/27 Turtle was released back into the Atlantic Ocean near Palm Coast, FL.
