Comments/Disposition:

 

11/8 Turtle was found floating off south end of Anclote Key State Park, and is severely affected by Fibropapillomatosis.  Turtle is dehydrated, anemic and weak, and has been started on antibiotics.  11/9 Turtle was put into water and is swimming fairly well.  Turtle has started eating.  11/14 Turtle is eating well. 11/25 Switching antibiotic due to elevated white count. Will do surgery to remove paps sometime in December.  12/08 Turtle has been being treated for kidney problems, although values are improving, surgery might be postponed until the turtles kidney values are in normal range. 12/15 Laser surgery was performed to remove all tumors from the eyes and skin of the turtle.  Surgery was successful and turtle is recovering nicely. 12/22 Turtle continues to improve. 1/5 Turtle wating well and spend a lot of time under his new ledge 1/26 Turtle still has comprimised kidney function.  Tumor re-growth in one of its eyes, eye will be removed. 2/27 Turtle was euthanized due to Kidney failure and invasive tumor.
