Lethargic, weak turtle on arrival.

8/12 Turtle was found floating in New Pass, Sarasota Bay, and is very lethargic, anemic, underweight, and covered in barnacles and algae.  Turtle was begun on treatment.  8/13 Began taking solid food and is doing fairly well. 8/22 Turtle continues to improve.  Appetite is variable, but increasing. 9/1 Appetite is much improved and turtle has begun to gain weight. 9/11 Turtle's anemia has suddenly become worse, but is eating fairly well.  Will monitor closely. 9/12 Turtle died yesterday afternoon.  Necropsy revealed massive hemorrhage into the pericardium, the sac surrounding the heart.
