Turtle on arrival.

2/21 Turtle was found floating in Little Sarasota Bay inside Siesta Key.  Turtle is extremely emaciated, weak, anemic, is covered in mud, algae, and barnacles, and is affected with fibropapillomatosis.  It has tumors on both eyes.  It has been started on fluids, antibiotics, and iron.  Prognosis is very guarded. 2/22 Turtle died early this morning.  Necropsy revealed extreme weight loss and possible septicemia.
