Bruno on arrival.
9/30 Turtle was found floating near Egmont Key and was transported to the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital for treatment. Turtle is very lethargic but responsive and is in good flesh. Is likely suffering from red tide toxicosis. Treatment has been initiated. 10/1 Turtle is much stronger today, able to raise its head. Was moved into slightly deeper water and is able to swim some. 10/4 Turtle has begun to eat and has been placed into even deeper water. 10/6 Turtle continues to do well. Blood results received today indicated this is definitely a case of red tide toxicosis. 10/11 Turtle's appetite is now excellent and turtle is swimming much more. Looks good for a complete recovery. 10/18 Turtle is now gaining weight and continuing to do well. 10/28 Turtle is continuing to do very well. 11/9 Turtle has been approved for release and has been fitted with a satellite-linked transmitter.
