3/13 Turtle was found floating off Siesta Key, unable to submerge, was covered in algae and barnacles, and was extremely emaciated.  It was started on fluids and antibiotics. 3/16 Turtle has continued to deteriorate and was euthanized.  Necropsy revealed abscess involving the entire right lung and obvious associated infections, a condition that was clearly untreatable.
