This turtle was found floating near shore off Casey Key, not swimming, being pushed by waves.  It was extremely emaciated, lethargic, non-responsive, and had no white cells in its blood count.  Its skin was completely covered in algae and barnacles and began sloughing severely.  The turtle never regained consciousness and died 10 days later.
