Turtle was found disoriented on Longboat Key after having nested.  It had a severe infection on one front flipper and had a very high white count.  It was hospitalized to get the infection under control. 7/3 Turtle is gradually improving and white count is slowly decreasing. 7/20 White count went down and then back up again.  Have changed antibiotics and seems to be improving.  Hopefully will be able to release soon. 7/27 Turtle was released this morning off Longboat Key.  Swam away very quickly and very strongly.
