Comments/Disposition: KC came to the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital in extremely critical condition. It was difficult to tell if the turtle was even breathing. The turtle did not respond to treatment and died. Necropsy revealed a severe thickening of the intestinal tract that was preventing food and fluids from being absorbed.

Lessons: This turtle would have been euthanized due to failure to respond to treatment had it not died.
