Taking measurements of the turtle, which was transferred from Gumbo Limbo.

8/10 This animal was tranferred from Gumbo Limbo to Mote's Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital to finish its rehab. The turtle has already had one surgery to remove fibropapilloma tumors and is in need of another surgery to remove some new growths. Once the turtle has settled in to its new home, the surgery will take place.  Natasha is eating well. 9/12 Natasha had surgery over the weekend and is recovering well. 10/10 No new growths seen. Natasha continues to enjoy her "roommate" Jeffrey. 11/21 This turtle was released today!  After a transport over to the east coast with the help of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Natasha was released into the Mosquito Lagoon.
