Comments/Disposition:

4/4 Randy was found floating in a grassy area near a seawall. The turtle is emaciated and covered in barnacles and weighed in at just 140 pounds. After receiving fluids, the turtle was placed in a large tank and did fine in the water. The turtle was also offered food, which was eaten in minutes. 4/25 Randy continues to eat well and is receiving medication to remove parasites in his digestive tract. 5/18 Randy has gained several pounds and continues to get stronger daily. 6/2 Randy has continued to gain weight and get stronger. 6/13 Randy continues to eat like a monster and is getting stronger daily. 7/31 This turtle has been approved for release and will be transported back to the east caost for release later this week. 8/2 The turtle was released from the east coast of Florida today!
