Turtle upon admission.

6/26 Turtle was found offshore of cape Romano.  Animal is showing neurological issues with disoriention and weakness.  Animal does react and try to bite but has very little proprioception — reaction to stimuli. Looking into possible red tide exposure, lead poisioning, encephalitis and Domoic acid among other issues.  7/5 Turtle is acting normal and eating now.  Very slight positive on red tide exposure but other toxins could have been causing the issue... will not know but will be on the look out for other animals. 7/25 "Snapper" is doing great.  Eating all that is offered.  Waiting on Domoic acid results. 8/17 Turtle was released today on Lido Beach!!
