3/18 Turtle was found floating by a boater and brought in for rehabilitation. Animal has small fibropapillomas on eyes, rear flippers, front flippers anmd base of plastron. Sheldon is very lethargic and not eating. Will start antibiotics and give fluids. 3/22 Sheldon started eating small amounts this morning. 3/23 Turtle is swimming more today and eating! 6/13 Sheldon's health improved steadily over the last three months and today he was picked up by members of Florida's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and returned to the wild at Port Salerno on Florida's east coast this week! Go Sheldon!
