New Research on Microscopic Menaces Detailed During Harmful Algae Symposium

The 7th Symposium on Harmful Algae in the U.S. took place in Sarasota, Fla., recently. Hosted by Mote and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, this national conference drew 215 researchers from 31 states to talk about microscopic menaces that can wreak havoc on the communities they affect — making humans sick and causing widespread ecological and economic harm.
