April 22: Talks from the Dock (virtual)

Celebrate Earth Day with Mote Marine Laboratory. Go on a seashore safari with us without getting wet during our virtual excursion into Sarasota Bay. Live from atop our floating education platform, embark on a sightseeing adventure over mudflats, seagrass meadows, and mangrove trees. Uncover the challenges sea creatures face living between the tides and maybe wave to a scientist working alongside us on the docks. You never know what we will find when we explore the estuary together. From shark pups to grownups, this program is suitable for all ages. Endless Oceans: Marine Science 101 

Curious about our oceans? Interested in expanding your knowledge while also expanding your network? We welcome you to explore the world of marine science through this engaging series of in-person lessons and hands-on experiences hosted by Mote education professionals. Classes will also feature Mote experts discussing their research related to that day’s topic and active learning excursions around the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium campus.

Learning is a lifelong endeavor, continue your journey with Mote Marine Laboratory.

We welcome you to explore the world of marine science through this engaging series of online, self-paced lessons recorded by a Mote education professional. Wherever you live and whatever your schedule, you can still dive into Mote's research and gain a deeper understanding of our oceans! Learning is a lifelong endeavor, continue your journey with Mote Marine Laboratory.

Fee: $162 for members, $180 for non-members

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds given for Mote Education's Endless Oceans program. Program fees will not be credited/refunded due to technical issues on the participant’s end. Please see full policy included in your registration confirmation email. Mote reserves the right to update or modify any program elements as necessary. Modification of a program element by Mote does not constitute grounds for a refund. 

Florida Master Naturalist Program

During the year, we offer several of the Florida Master Naturalist Program modules. FMNP is an adult education UF/IFAS Extension program developed by the University of Florida and offered by Mote Marine Laboratory. Details and schedules are available at mote.org/fmnp.
